I just wanted to write a quick post regarding Sugar Rush to let you all know we’re definitely listening, and that the game hasn’t gone away.

Since the shutdown of Nexon Publishing North America, there’s been a ton of inquiries regarding the fate of Sugar Rush.

Nexon has been amazingly great to work with during the difficult transition, and the current result is that Klei has retained the rights to Sugar Rush, and remain committed to the title.

As of yet, both Klei and Nexon are exploring multiple options regarding Nexon’s publishing of Sugar Rush in North America and no final decision has been made.

We’ll let everyone know as soon as we know where we’re taking the project.

I really hope Sugar Rush continues.. I was in Closed Beta and it was awesome! I got soo addicted.. as I reached home from school i went on it lol =P COME BACK SUGAR RUSH!! <3

In what way is this news? This is nothing more than them making excuses as to why we have been left in the dark for so long. This has been the only update in months and it has given us no grip as to when this potentially great game will be coming out, I for one will soon be giving up on this game.

To be totally honest, this is no excuse. We don’t have a deal signed with a publisher to launch the game, and we can’t launch the game without additional funding.

We still believe in the project and we’ve had a great response from *plenty* of publishers — but as an independent developer we have to hold out for the right deal for us. Obviously, I can’t talk about the interested parties, and since we haven’t signed a deal yet, there really isn’t any additional news.

Hope that clears things up and makes clear that we’re not dodging the question. Here’s hoping you don’t give up on the game!

are you sure because its past the day you said it would come out so i think its coming out on dec or even january so i dont think its coming out any sooner if so then yay but i dont know
